How We Work

A Coordinated Approach,
Built Around Your Project

Your Macaro sales contact coordinates the services included in your project scope. From an initial discussion through fabrication, delivery, and installation, our team provides the support your project calls for — with one point of accountability, not a chain of vendors.

Who We Work With

Built for Architects, GCs, and Developers Who Value Certainty

Architects and spec writers — We provide category-based product information, 3-part CSI specs, CAD drawings by mounting condition, and AAMA technical data. We speak your language and format our submittals for your approval process.

General Contractors and construction managers — We eliminate RFIs before they happen. When scope is locked before bid, your project moves faster, your contracts are cleaner, and your punch list is shorter.

Developers and owners — Early coordination can reduce change orders, protect the schedule, and provide a single point of accountability for the Macaro services included in the project scope.

Fewer RFIs

Early review can identify questions before fabrication or field work begins.

Prepared Documentation

Shop drawings and submittal materials are coordinated to the agreed scope and review requirements.

Single Point of Contact

One Macaro contact coordinates the services included in your scope, including supervised installation when contracted.

Clearer Scope

Known conditions, responsibilities, and project requirements can be clarified before work begins.

Project Support

Support That Fits Your Project

The services and coordination below are available according to your project needs and agreed scope. Your Macaro sales contact helps identify which support fits and coordinates the teams involved.

01

Initial Engagement

Your Macaro sales contact reviews the project scope, confirms product fit, and connects you with the right internal team. This helps bring the appropriate expertise into the conversation from day one.

02

Design Support, When It Fits the Project

Not every project needs the same level of preconstruction support. When a customer wants early collaboration, Macaro can help review mounting and installation conditions, infill and finish selections, system details, and sequencing before fabrication. The level of support is tailored to the project and agreed with the customer.

03

Shop Drawing Approval

We prepare and submit detailed shop drawings formatted for the project's review process. Drawings, supporting documents, and engineer-stamped calculations are provided when applicable and included in the agreed scope.

04

Scope Lock

When Macaro participates before bid, the scope can be clarified, questions can be answered, and known field conditions can be discussed. This can reduce RFIs and support a cleaner contract.

05

Fabrication

With approved drawings in hand, our Hamilton and Manville, NJ facilities begin production. Components are fabricated, finished, and inspected for the Macaro scope before delivery.

06

Delivery & Install

When included, Macaro coordinates direct delivery and installation with the project team. Installation is performed through employees, vetted subcontractors, or both, under Macaro's direct supervision.

Project-Specific Collaboration

Practical Alternatives, When Needed

When a specified detail cannot be fabricated or installed as drawn, Macaro can work with the customer and design team to suggest a practical alternative. We may also propose a different approach based on how the system will be fabricated and installed, or review alternatives when the customer asks us to. Any change is project-specific and remains subject to the customer’s and design team’s approval.

"The best time to solve a railing problem is before the concrete is poured. We have been doing this long enough to know where the surprises hide — and we would rather find them on paper than on the job site."
