Macaro Iron Works was founded in Manville, New Jersey with a straightforward premise: build custom metalwork the right way, stand behind it, and let the work speak for itself. Nearly two decades later, that premise still drives every project we take on.
What started as a residential ironwork shop has grown into one of the Northeast's most trusted commercial fabricators — designing, building, and installing railings, glass systems, prefabricated balconies, pergolas, trellises, privacy dividers, shade structures, and custom fences for multifamily developers, hospitality groups, general contractors, and architects from Massachusetts to Virginia.
In 2026, we opened our Hamilton, NJ manufacturing facility to expand the commercial capabilities of our Hamilton and Manville operations. Depending on the agreed scope, Macaro can coordinate project documentation, fabrication, direct delivery, and installation through employees and vetted subcontractors under our supervision.
We're a family-owned business. Most of our commercial work comes from architects, developers, and GCs who've worked with us before. That repeat business is the measure we hold ourselves to on every project.

In Commercial Construction, Timing Depends on Coordination
A late architectural aluminum scope can affect other trades, inspections, and occupancy milestones. Macaro helps reduce that risk by coordinating the services included in our contract and communicating project requirements before fabrication and field work.
We fabricate at our Hamilton and Manville, NJ facilities. When included, direct delivery uses Macaro's fleet, and installation is performed through directly supervised employees, vetted subcontractors, or both. This structure gives the project team a clearer point of accountability for the Macaro scope.
Our long-standing relationships with architects, developers, and general contractors are built on that practical coordination and the work we deliver.

We don't rush shop drawings. Every dimension is verified before fabrication starts, because a mistake in the shop is a problem on the job site. Getting it right the first time is what keeps your schedule moving.
Supervised Installation
When installation is included, Macaro uses employees, vetted subcontractors, or both, with direct oversight and inspection of the work associated with our contracted scope.
